The videos on my site are LARGE, a full 640x480 in size,
at 30 frames per sec, with sound.
They are all Windows Media format (WMV), at about 6 MB per minute.
I found WMV to have the best picture quality for it's size,
while avoiding proprietary codecs.
If you use a modem, it will take you 4 minutes for each 1 MB to download them.
On cable or DSL, it's 30 sec or less per MB.
Windows Media format should work on all newer PCs.
If you get strange characters instead of video,
try saving the video (see below) to your PC and playing it from your disk.
If a video plays with jerky motion, your PC is too slow.
If a video plays very small, right-click on it and open it in a new window,
or tell Explorer not to handle it.
All my videos are coded the same, so if one video doesn't work, none will (sorry).
For MAC users, I am told REAL Player has a plug-in to handle WMV.
Please email me at email@example.com
to tell me if I'm right or wrong about this.
Due to their size, I remove videos to make room for new ones,
so they may only be up for a month or two.
To save a video onto your computer,
right-click on any video picture,
then select "save target as" or "save link as",
and choose a folder on your disk to store it to.
Note if you select "save picture as" or "save image as",
you will only be saving the picture itself.
If you would like to be notified when I post new videos, just email me at
and I will add you to my private mailing list.
I will never share your email address, I send emails BCC
so no one else sees your address, and you can be removed whenever you like.
